Adrian O’Carroll

Adrian O’Carroll is a photographic artist from South West Donegal, living in Dublin. He first started working in photography in his 20’s, studying at night in London, then he set it aside to pursue another career. He returned to photography in his mid 40’s and has been working at it since.

Biography

O’Carroll has published two books on his work through Oonagh Young Gallery and shown in a number of group exhibitions. He won The Progressive Vision Curtin O’Donoghue Emerging Photographic Artist Award in 2023 for his work Otis Diptych. His work will be shown in Regional Cultural Centre in Letterkenny in July 2025 and in his first solo show in Dublin in Oonagh Young Gallery in late 2025.
